{"id":11605,"date":"2026-03-31T15:23:42","date_gmt":"2026-03-31T15:23:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/travel.ribo.it\/?p=11605"},"modified":"2026-04-28T07:51:26","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T07:51:26","slug":"the-new-decision-making-in-the-hospitality-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travel.ribo.it\/en\/blog-en\/the-new-decision-making-in-the-hospitality-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"The new decision-making in the hospitality sector"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nowadays, innovation has influenced the <strong>tourism sector<\/strong> with the creation of solutions which could benefit both tourists and residents, especially in large urban centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The widespread presence of the so-called <strong>\u2018holiday-homestays\u2019 <\/strong>in Italy&#8217;s major cities of art, seems to have had little impact on international Hotel chains in metropolises until now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Globally, hotels are implementing new <strong>marketing strategies<\/strong> to engage hotel guests in \u2018<strong>loyalty programs<\/strong>\u2019 offering relaxation and wellness packages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the latest market research, one-third of travellers admits to preferring <strong>\u2018sports and wellness\u2019<\/strong> for a hotel destination, suggesting that these options influence individual decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Traveller\u2019s behavior is evolving towards health and psycho-physical regeneration preferences, favouring wellness and relaxation tourism offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The major Hotel chains aim to be accessible to both tourists and residents throughout the year, against high-season demands and <strong>overtourism<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A tourism solution which fosters cultural exchange between visitors and local residents within the hotel, encouraging shared experiences of culture, food and wine, health and leisure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By joining <strong>\u2018loyalty programs\u2019<\/strong>, tourists or residents can come back\u00a0to the same hotel or tourist destination without following restrictive, limited-edition or seasonal promotional packages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Could this be a possible <strong>marketing solution<\/strong> for small or medium-sized hotels in Italy?
