Get out of the bubble…Bergamo-Brescia 2023 is awaiting you!

‘Bergamo-Brescia 2023, Italian Capital of Culture’, an ideal Easter break destination! On this year, there is no shortage of creative and cultural events and activities! Everything is focused on getting to know these two similar but different cities in greater depth.
Thanks to the ‘Città Illuminata Project’, tourists have more opportunity to visit the most important monuments, historic buildings, theatres and museums thanks to special tickets, unlimited accesses and offers combined with local transport, ideally designed for short but frequent visit-experiences.
In this way, local micro-economy is supported and strengthened in these territories, positively affecting socio-environmental factors as well.
Furthermore, different cultural contexts or places attract more tourists, involving a wider target of visitors. An excellent example is ‘Palazzo Moroni’ in Bergamo, a secluded historical Palace immersed in nature, right in the center of the Upper Town!
Another great example is the ‘Festival of light’ event, attracting more than 300.000 visitors in both Brescia and Bergamo!
The commercial partners of this cultural-artistic event donated the sum equal to the amount of energy used for lighting monuments and tourist attractions to organizations, supporting environmental sustainability and socio-economic projects in Bergamo and Brescia.
These are excellent opportunities to contribute to eco-sustainability at international level, including local history and culture, even promoting these two cities as ‘Open-air museums’!
