Finally after Covid-19 pandemic, Chicago city is coming back to its usual summertime activities such as the numerous cultural events and creative festivals, promoting and supporting the 77 neighborhoods.

Chicago is one of the top and largest US tourist destinations with about 3 million inhabitants. Besides, it hosts more than 70 music festivals, 200 professional dance companies and theatres.

The internationally popular Jazz Festival has represented a tradition for over forty years, defining Chicago as a ‘Jazz City’. This music festival takes place during the Labour Day week in September, but not only!

During this 2022, Chicago is also celebrating the centenary of Louis Armstrong’s stay in this metropolis, where he became famous at national and international level.

Throughout the summer, the Jazz Festival represents an important music hub because it gathers lots of people and different music genres, from blues to classical, hip-hop to pop and dance. The innovative Millennium Park is the main destination where these festivals take place together with several art, culture and leisure events.
