What will WTM London 2018 present to us?

Also scheduled for this year is the increasingly awaited ‘WTM London 2018’, or the ‘World Travel Market’, which awaits us in the London capital from 5 to 7 November, with news in the international tourism sector.
The year 2017 ended on a positive note, thanks in particular to the technological innovation that is taking over the global market, even if the human, cultural and sustainable tourism aspects will not be overlooked.
In fact, only with the help of each individual, first of all, can we contribute to enforcing these principles, therefore anticipating and managing the technologies to obtain these results.
Tourism is a very varied sector, as ‘WTM London’ also confirmed in the previous edition, declaring 2017 the ‘official year of Sustainable Tourism in the world’.
How, then, can we promote a more responsible world that respects nature, peoples and nations? How can we contribute with tourism to at least alleviate or even defeat economic shortages, not only at an international level, but also locally, in the world?
Managing a balance between poverty, economic development in the world and wealth is certainly not an easy responsibility to enforce.
This was a topic widely discussed at WTM 2017, but will also be proposed for WTM 2018. Promote greater awareness of the economic impact on local populations and the environment.
The international ‘Food & Beverage’ sector, for example, can lead to a solution, involving the states of South America or Asia, in their diversity of cultural offerings and uniqueness of the products displayed and promoted.
Could this, therefore, be a positive experience for the tourist, finding himself in a semi-unknown place to visit or explore? Or, traveling in an environment foreign or totally different from the civilized world of the ‘Western Countries’? What can the economic impact of eco-sustainable development be like?
