Finland, an innovative nation with multiple resources

Since 2013, Finland has significantly improved its expectations in favor of international tourism as well as domestic and local tourism, which is already consolidated. In fact, with an economic increase of 15% in this sector, Finland is destined to grow as a favorite outbound destination, with an estimated +10% expected over the next ten years.

Already since 2017, Finland has achieved excellent results, having been ranked first as ‘Best eco-tourism destination’, according to the well-known international magazine ‘National Geographic’ and the tourist guide ‘Lonely Planet’.

The growing economic data speak clearly, they reflect the foreign traveler’s ability to visit Finland, declared the safest and greenest nation in the world.

With only just over 5,000,000 inhabitants across the entire territory, Finland wants to preserve its natural wealth, but at the same time, respond to the increasingly demanding tourist demands, diversifying the offer in terms of quality.

The so-called ‘luxury tourism’ is a clear example of this, represented by the various and more or less recent constructions intended for high-quality tourist accommodation, and those planned in the coming years, which are immersed in the territory respecting its natural characteristics, with the its typical flora and fauna.

Therefore internationalizing Finland towards outbound tourism, not only limited to nearby strategic countries, such as the economic forces of China and Russia, but also towards other states, is the main objective of this Scandinavian nation: to encourage the market of the sector in continuous growth and extend it abroad, proposing and enhancing its tourist image.
