Here comes the Queen Elizabeth train!

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of England inaugurated the new train ‘Queen Elizabeth Line’ in February 2016. An innovative transport service which is especially dedicated to her!

Fully-equipped with smart air-conditioning and electricity, CCTV and wi-fi, this 9-carriage (or even more) train has been projected to transport about 200 million people every year, saving money, time, energy (30% renewable) and helping British people with more than 700 new job opportunities in the sector.

Starting from December 2018, the Elizabeth Line will connect London Heathrow Airport with Paddington central station, supporting Heathrow Express with more transport opportunities.

According to the British Transport Statistics (2017), West-London Paddington was the eighth busiest station in England, with more than 37 million passengers.

It is estimated that about 440 million passengers will travel in 2018, that is 100 million people more than in 2011. Besides, trains will be more punctual (90%) and safe (+20%) than in the past.

By the end of 2019, the Elizabeth Line will be ready to easily transport, from West to East, commuters and tourists, travelling with better transport conditions in terms of cost, time and quality of service.

Many London Central stations have been recently renovated to allow greater accessibility, including clear passengers information signs to highlight directions and facilitate travel.

This new London train connection will do nothing but contribute to the success of the solid British transport sector, representing the historic importance of the Queen, an international British icon. An excellent and innovative idea to keep His Majesty up to date with the new generations!
