Since 2017, ‘Fico Eataly World’ has been defined as the ‘largest food park in the world’, presenting local Italian natural products.

‘Fico’ that is the ‘Italian Farmer Factory’ promotes the heritage of Italian food and wine. Visit this exhibition, a 20,000 m2 farm just a few kilometres from Bologna!

A few tips: every-day entry is free until 11pm, two different shuttles can take you to destination: one leaving from Bologna airport, the other from the city centre. Remember that on Saturday evenings Fico remains open until midnight!

October is one of the best months to present local products during events, wine tastings, attending Emilian or Italian cooking lessons and much more!

Also, entertainment for adults and children, interactive and multimedia paths, educational, art, dance and sports courses throughout the year!

In this ‘Food Park’, you also have the opportunity to do ‘organic’ shopping, even by bicycle. Find fresh products at the market and in the gastronomic shops which represent the best of Italian producers and farmers. You can even choose your products and have them shipped to your house!
